We will be airing messages from soldiers stationed overseas during the holidays again this year. Unfortunately, due to the government shutdown, there hasn't been the staff available to record those soldier greetings. So, if you have family members away from home serving our country, we'd love to have a greeting from them to air.
Each message should be 20-30 seconds long. Here's a sample, transcribed from one of last year's greetings:
"I'm Lieutenant Colonel XX XX here with my wife XX, and daughters XX and XX, and we're stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. We'd like to wish our family & friends in Put-In-Bay and Port Clinton, including Uncle XX and Grandma XX, a very happy holiday. We love you."
That is just an example. Anything similar is fine. The messages will be played throughout December on Mix 102-7 , 1450am WLEC, and Coast Country 100.9 (all stations also streaming online)
Email the greeting to email@example.com or CLICK HERE to send the audio file to us, and we will post on the webpage and put in our rotation of soldier greetings.

God Bless, and thanks for working through the holidays to keep our country safe.
